While drawing my mermaid, I came up with another idea: to draw Medusa, a greek mythological creature.
It is said by Ovid ( in Metamorphoses) that she was a very beautiful woman, but when she and Poseidon made love to each other in the temple op Athena, the goddess turned Medusa's wonderful hair into serpents and made her face so hideous to look at that anyone who looked at her would turn immediately into stone...
I tried to mix the ugly and the beautiful elements: I hope that even though she has those serpents instead of hair, she is pretty. I hope I succeeded

I think this was well pulled off. The uneven line makes her a tad fuzzy looking, but the overall look is very attractive, if abit angry looking young lady [though I'd be upset too]
